NEW: To request that care be discontinued on site for 8 hours, a supervisory physician may submit a letter explaining the need to give up and a statement on the character and competence of the medical assistant. If the following qualifications are met, the Chamber may grant a waiver so that the paund and the supervisory physician can meet monthly through synchronized technology instead of a personal meeting: after approval by the Board, a supervisory physician may call on the services of a medical assistant (PA) in accordance with a practice agreement. If the PA is monitored by an organization of supervisory physicians (SPO), the designated primary supervisory physician must submit, modify and terminate the practice agreement. Both the supervisory physician and the Palestinian Authority must report the termination of an online surveillance relationship within 15 days of the end of the surveillance. If the first whistleblower report is provided either by the Supervisory Authority or by the Palestinian Authority, both parties will be informed by e-mail that a whistleblower report has been initiated and the other party will be informed of the submission of an independent whistleblower report (see OAR 847-050-0050). A “practice agreement” is a written agreement between a medical assistant and a supervising physician or a supervisory organization (SPO) that describes what the medical assistant will practice and how. The practice agreement must be filed with the board within 10 days of the start of the practice. You can file, modify or terminate a practice contract by registering with licensing services and selecting “practical agreements.” If the relationship is currently filed as a practice description (approved before 2012), it must be terminated (see termination of the supervisory relationship below) and a new practice agreement (see above).
